Alvarez v. Koby Machinery Co. (Ill. App. 1st Dist. 1987) Represented an employee of a company against the company in a products liability action arising out of the purchase of a mill used in the business. The case dealt with issues of chain of distribution and the subsequent purchase of the mill.

Empire Fire & Marine Insurance Company v. Clarendon Insurance Company, 267 Ill.App. 3d 1022, 642 N.E. 2d 790 ( Ill. App. 1st Dist 1994) Represented an insurance company in a declaratory judgment matter that sought a determination regarding primary insurance coverage for an automobile accident occurring when a “car hiker” employed by a second insured automobile dealership was involved in accident while returning vehicle to first automobile dealership.

Keller v. United States of America, 58 F.3d 1194 Represented a plaintiff in a Federal Tort Claims Act case against the Veterans’ Administration Hospital for a claimed failure to repair an aortic aneurysm.

First Specialty Insurance Company v. Chadha, unreported, First District Appellate docket no. 01-3295. Represented a plaintiff on a declaratory judgment complaint on a jeweler’s block policy of insurance, arguing against the company’s position that it did not afford coverage for the defendants’ claim that certain jewelry was stolen at a jewelry show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
